RCEN participates in four community involvement activities throughout the year as a way to give back and be involved in our local community.  These projects give our members an opportunity to a) make a contribution, b) interact with one another in a different environment and c) develop new skills.  These projects are a benefit to RCEN as they give us an opportunity to attract new members and gain additional exposure in the community.  We will focus our activities on groups that are related to women, business, families, children or education.

Additionally, in 2009 the NVNV Network Connections Program was established in partnership with New Visions New Ventures (NVNV). New Visions New Ventures is a non-profit community economic development organization that fosters small business development, job creation, financial literacy and asset building. The program helps new women entrepreneurs to learn and benefit from the power of networking. The program connects NVNV "graduates" with RCEN member networking mentors.
